All our operational features are
suitable for normal logistics
operations to support onshore oil
and gas well construction
(drilling), testing, completion,
development & production.
All services offered by SOSCO will
be monitored at all times by
company’s Quality, Health, Safety
and Environment policy and
guidelines.
Hazard and risk assessment will
specify action plans and specific
controls that will be applied to
manage all risks to ALARP (As Low As
Reasonably Practicable) for the
planning, procurement, equipment and
resources set-up and/or
installations and provision of all
services.
All SOSCO personnel are trained and
competent in general HSE
requirements as relevant to their
role (ie. Hazard Management,
Stop-work actions, Operations
Non-conformances, PPE, Manual
Handling, Chemical Handling, Fire
Fighting, Lifting Principles and
Guidelines, Emergency Response,
etc.).

B.
GENERAL PRINCIPLES:
|
1. |
All injuries irrespective of
its nature must be reported
as soon as possible to
immediate Supervisors. |
|
2. |
All non-facility assigned
personnel must check in with
Security/ Receptionist
before proceeding to any
operations area. |
|
3. |
All employees and visitors
must wear proper PPE when
entering/visiting workshop
areas. |
|
4. |
Fighting and horseplay are
strictly prohibited on
SARAHA company property. |
|
5. |
No equipment shall be
operated unless the employee
has received proper training
on that equipment. |
|
6. |
No work shall be started on
any unit or equipment
without the knowledge and
consent of the person
responsible of that area. |
|
7. |
An employee must immediately
report any unsafe conditions
or practices to his
immediate Supervisor and
take corrective action. |
|
8. |
Running in work areas is
prohibited, except during an
emergency – this is
acceptable. |
|
9. |
Finger rings, metal-banded
wristwatches and other
conductive items should not
be worn when performing work
on live Electrical Systems. |

10. |
Loose clothing, loose
accessories and unrestrained
long hair should be
controlled when working
around rotating machinery. |
|
11. |
All Fires, whether
extinguished or not, must be
immediately reported to
Security Supervisor. |
|
12. |
All operation areas must
have First-Aid boxes.
|
|
13. |
Drinking of alcohol on the
job or while driving a
SARAHA company vehicle or
reporting to work under the
influence of intoxicants is
prohibited. |
